Preventative Care

Preventative health is about staying a step ahead of disease. Regular screenings, vaccinations, and healthy habits can catch problems early – or keep them from developing in the first place. Your primary care provider can help you build a plan that fits your age, medical history, and risk factors.

The schedules below outline common screening and immunization recommendations for people without symptoms or known high–risk conditions. They are meant to start a conversation with your provider, not replace medical advice. Always talk with your Ridgecrest Regional Hospital care team about what is right for you.

Schedule with your provider first

An Annual Wellness Visit needs to be scheduled through your primary care provider. If you already have a provider at RRH, call your clinic to request an appointment. If you don’t have a provider yet, any of our clinics can help you get started.
