Dr. Billie Yvonne Guerra is a dedicated and compassionate OB/GYN at Ridgecrest Regional Hospital, specializing in women’s health, family care, and childbirth. As a first-generation Cuban-American, she draws inspiration from her family’s journey and the values they instilled. Her father, who immigrated from Antilla, Cuba at 18, pursued education to become an engineer, setting an example of perseverance and dedication that shaped Dr. Guerra’s life.

From an early age, Dr. Guerra knew she wanted to become a doctor, deciding at just nine years old to follow her passion for science and medicine. Her love for women’s health, families, and children led her to focus on OB/GYN, a field where she feels she can make a significant impact. She also holds great admiration for pediatricians, acknowledging the critical role they play in ensuring the well-being of future generations.

Dr. Guerra earned her medical degree from Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1994. Outside of her medical practice, she enjoys gardening, swimming, and traveling, finding balance between her professional and personal life.
