Charise L. Lavarreda, FNP-C

About

Charise Lavarreda is a MSN, FNP-C and is AANPBC Certified (American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board). Her areas of expertise are in General Surgery. Charise attended Bakersfield College and graduated in 2014 as a Registered Nurse. In 2019, she attended Western University of Health Sciences Degree, and earned her MSN in Ambulatory Care. In 2020, she earned her FNP also from the Western University of Health Sciences Degree. 

Charise has worked as a nurse for over 10 years and has completed over 675 hours of clinical experience here in Ridgecrest. This included experience in primary care, pediatrics, women's health, and general surgery. Charise was raised in Trona, and permanently moved to Ridgecrest in 2010. “This is my home and providing health care to my community is a privilege.” Charise has been awarded in the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing and the Song Brown Grant. 

During her free time, Charise enjoys spending time with her family outdoors and exploring national parks. Charise has three beautiful daughters and one son who fill her days with lots of laughter and excitement. Charise and her family have a small farm and loves watching her children learn how to care for their animals.
