About

Dr. Kathleen S. Ranola (“Dr. Ranola”) is a board-certified Family Medicine physician dedicated to delivering compassionate, community-focused healthcare. She joins Ridgecrest Regional Hospital with a strong foundation in family medicine, built through her work as a Primary Care Physician at Queens University Medical Group in Honolulu, HI, where her dedication to quality patient care earned her outstanding satisfaction ratings.  

Dr. Ranola’s journey into medicine was inspired by her mother, a physician in the Philippines who provided free care to underserved communities. Following this example, Dr. Ranola completed her undergraduate studies in Biochemistry at UCLA and went on to complete her Family Medicine residency at Chino Valley Medical Center, where she gained a deep commitment to providing accessible care for patients.  

Outside of her practice, Dr. Ranola is an outdoor enthusiast with a love for bucket-list adventures, including summiting Mount Whitney on her birthday. She enjoys hiking, traveling, and spending time with her family and two dogs.
