About

Dr. Singh joined our community in Ridgecrest in 2014 after completing residency training at the University of California Riverside Medical Center in Moreno Valley. He is a board certified Family Medicine physician and diplomat of the American Board of Obesity Medicine. Currently he is part of the medical staff at Ridgecrest Regional Hospital and maintains a full time thriving practice at Rural Health Clinic. His interests and passions include introducing innovative noninvasive surgical procedures to his outpatient clinic including the “no scalpel vasectomy” and the “scar free lipoma” removal. His other pet project has been completing his fellowship training in Obesity Medicine while starting a innovative weight loss program which has resulted in 600 patients losing over 12,000 pounds over the last 14 months. Dr. Singh is a graduate of the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) and completed his medical education at the Ross University School of Medicine. Dr Singh is part of the inpatient service committee, the pediatric service committee, the quality management committee and the continuing medical education committee at RRH. His latest interest is understanding and becoming a liaison in forging a strong bond between administration and providers, while providing a active voice for the concerns of medical staff. Dr. Singh is willing and able to contribute all he can to ensure the continued vitality and wellbeing of this wonderful community and its people and believes that with his energy and motivation he can help maintain the excellence that we have come to expect of our Hospital.
