Visiting Nurse Services (VNS) is health care that is given at home by registered and specially trained nurses, who work in teams to provide comprehensive care for those who need additional assistance to live at home. Under the direction of the patient’s physician, our VNS staff visit the patient at home to carry out a plan of care for the purpose of restoring and maintaining the highest possible level of health, function and comfort.
In order for this to work, both our nurse and patient need to establish a healthy and trusting partnership. Once the trust and accountability are there, you can start seeing those beautiful healing moments. Visiting Nurse Services (VNS) makes a difference in the lives of their patients every day and Mr. Puppel’s success story is one of many.
Not so long ago, Mr. Puppel was discouraged with his health and felt like he would be unable to improve, but as you can see by working together with his nurse, he was able to accomplish his goals and improve his health.
