Ridgecrest Regional Hospital Reopens Labor and Delivery Services

We are thrilled to announce that Ridgecrest Regional Hospital (RRH) will reopen its Labor and Delivery services starting Sunday, December 1st. This marks a significant milestone for our community, and we are eager to provide compassionate and quality care to expectant mothers and their families.

Clinic Services Begin December 2nd

Our Obstetrics Clinic will begin seeing patients on Monday, December 2nd. If you are less than 30 weeks pregnant by December 2nd, and interested in transferring your care to RRH, we welcome you to join our family-centered program.

How to Enroll

To ensure a smooth transition and personalized care, we ask interested patients to follow these steps:

  • Step 1: Fill Out Our Enrollment Form. Start by completing our simple intake form, which you can find here. This form helps us understand your needs and begin the evaluation process.

  • Step 2: Our nurse team at Women's Health will evaluate your case and contact you to discuss your care plan and answer any questions you may have.

  • Step 3: Transfer Medical Records. Once you've spoken with our team, we'll guide you through transferring your medical records to ensure continuity of care.

Why Choose RRH for Your Delivery

Quality Care: Our program is designed with a focus on safety and quality, ensuring you and your baby receive the best care possible.

Comprehensive Support: We offer a range of educational resources, including prenatal courses, breastfeeding support, and postpartum care.

Community-Centered: By choosing RRH, you're supporting local healthcare and staying close to home, family, and friends during this special time.

Important Considerations

Limited Enrollment: We encourage our obstetrical patients to enroll as early as possible in order to ensure accommodation. We will gradually increase our patient capacity as staff- and provider-care allows.

High-Risk Pregnancies: If during your care any high-risk factors develop, our team will assist you with referrals to ensure that our pregnant mothers are connected with providers and clinics best equipped to meet their needs.
