In-Patient Services
With views of the mountains from every room, Mountain View is the name that was given to our in-patient unit. This medical/surgical unit provides services to patients who are 18 years or older with medical and surgical problems, or post-trauma conditions (excluding obstetrics and life-threatening conditions requiring admission to the ICU).
Care is provided in a team approach, using all available resources such as Case Management, Cardiology, Radiology, Laboratory, Chaplains, Utilization Management, Physical Therapy, Respiratory Therapy, Dietary and Social Services.
Some specific services include:
- Cardiac Monitoring (telemetry) to patients with cardiac conditions which allows continuous monitoring of heart rhythms
- Care of respiratory disorders such as COPD and Asthma
- Blood transfusions
- Treatment of infectious diseases and wound management
- Gastrointestinal disorders such as diverticulitis and pancreatitis
- Orthopedics; joint replacement and surgical repair of fractures
- Joint replacement care and support program
Family participation in plan of care and treatment of patients is encouraged. Patient care conferences are conducted with the patient, the patient’s family and members of the healthcare team, as requested.
We provide a Patient Services Representative to provide financial and insurance counseling.
Visiting Hours
Visiting hours on Mountain View are 10:00am to 8:00pm.
We ask that visitors be 12 years, although exceptions can be made depending on the circumstances. Please check with your nurse before bringing young children to the hospital.
We allow two visitors at the bedside at a time and ample space in the waiting area outside of Mountain View where visitors can be comfortably seated while waiting to switch with visitors at the bedside.
Although no one likes to be in the hospital, we hope we can make your stay as pleasant as possible. Please let us know if there is anything special that we can do to make your stay better.
